During National Nursing Home Week, May 13 – 19, we honored our Residents, Volunteers and Staff and celebrated the achievements of all.
Our main hall was transformed into an art gallery with original paintings by our Residents, with the assistance and guidance of volunteers Vikki Bobby and Ann Meinerding. Such talent!
Our Residents shared some of the joys of their lives in original written works, compiled by our Sisters.
We saluted our Staff with a special luncheon, served on all shifts, in recognition for the caring and sharing in our Mission here.
Thursday, May 17, our volunteers came for dessert. Needless to say, it was a “sweet” evening. On Sunday, May 20, pizza was the order of the day as we joined the Central Catholic Swim Team, who adopted us for volunteer service through the year, for an evening get together.
It was a very good week!
