Prayer that does not produce virtuous action is an illusion. We can all help to renew all things in Christ, to bring peace upon the earth, through a life of charity, through a life of prayer.
We can begin to reverence the individuality in others, to see the good that is there, to be considerate of them, to understand and to love them. To sit back, inactive, silent, is not only to settle for mediocrity, missing happiness ourselves, but to be responsible for evil taking over in the world about us.
