It was a record crowd that gathered in Seton Hall at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 9th to see some challenging competition among our Residents. Even though we had only four events, all the drama and excitement of the London games was still there. The residents had four venues to choose from: Ball Toss, Ring Toss, Corn Hole, and Bowling.
The Corn Hole game proved to be the most challenging, but the competitors persisted and racked up high scores. The other three games showed that the residents’ coordination and skill were still good.
We had our awards ceremony August 10th at 10:30 a.m. Gold, silver and bronze medals were given to the winners as well as a bouquet of flowers. At the conclusion all saluted our country with the singing of our national anthem.
We will be back in four years from now for our next House of Loreto Olympics. See you in Rio!
