When the call came from the Youngstown Diocese for a rally for freedom of religion and conscience, the Community sent four Sisters to represent the Congregation and Miss “Peg” Ferguson represented the residents of the House of Loreto. Bishop Murry was the keynote speaker. There were over 500 people in the plaza area behind the courthouse. Prayer, song and speeches filled the hour from noon to 1:00.
